About me and Inter-CV
The main goal of Inter-CV is to assist you in your career journey while in the UK and making the right decisions to get you into your desired industry. Basically that’s it.
In addition to keeping up to date with the current employer recruitment trends, I take all my years of experience working in the UK within recruitment, careers advice and graduate recruitment and put this information into articles and informative blog posts to point you in the right direction.
The aim is to focus on not only providing you with relevant, up to date information but also to assist in the adaption of your skills to the UK labour market. Many of my clients have told me that one of the major barriers of finding work in a new country is discovering what you need, knowing where to look and understanding employment culture.
When I work with clients the first step is to just simply understand the person that you are dealing with. I believe once you have a good understanding of what makes someone tick, giving the right support becomes the easy part. Working together is the key, as oppose to me just “Selling” all of my coaching services which has become a common theme in this industry these days.
About Rohan Harris
Over the last 10+ years I have been working with a wide variety of clients including senior professionals, migrants to the UK, Undergraduates, post graduates, ex-offenders, single mothers and the long term unemployed.
What I have learned is that I really enjoy understanding what motivates people professionally as well as socially, and working together to devise the best solution in order for them to reach their career goals. I think I must have been a psychologist in my past life……
Throughout my work history I have had the opportunity to partner work with some great organizations and brilliant thinkers ranging from charities to blue chip companies. Each partnership has taught me something new, or given me a different perspective on how to support my clients.
Inter-CV was born from my passion for understanding people through my career coaching and meeting new people from cultures different to my own. Throughout all of the people that I have worked with, my clients that came to the UK from another country to either start a new life, or gain new experiences were one of the groups that needed guidance the most. They were also the ones who most appreciated the work I did.
My focus now is working with people who have career goals in the UK and help them use all of the richness and knowledge from their own culture, to adapt it and channel it to create new opportunities for themselves in the UK.
